Bariu is well-known for its tasty products, such as Tzatziki and Russian salad. They wanted to stay connected to their rich Albanian heritage while also reaching a modern audience.
The main challenge was to create packaging and branding that honored Bariu’s traditions without looking old-fashioned. The goal was to appeal to customers who value quick and easy meals without losing the authentic feel of the brand’s roots.
Bariu needed a design that not only showcased its deep history but also appealed to a wide range of customers, from those familiar with its heritage to new shoppers looking for convenience.
In addition to this, the branding had to reflect key values: trust, tradition, and quality. Standing out in a crowded market was essential, but so was staying true to the brand’s Albanian identity.
Solution
We approached this project by carefully balancing tradition with a modern design. To do this, we took inspiration from Albania’s rich cultural history.
One of the key symbols we used was the Albanian Shepherd. This figure, known for representing trust and authenticity, became the central piece of Bariu’s branding. It helped connect the brand’s image to its heritage, linking it to Albanian culture while appealing to today’s consumers.
The packaging design was kept simple and elegant to reflect the freshness of Bariu’s ready-to-eat products. We made sure the design was clean and minimal, helping the products stand out on shelves while still supporting the brand’s authentic message.
By combining traditional design elements with modern touches, we helped Bariu create a brand that speaks to both loyal customers and new shoppers.
